Computer Science
A 3.0 gets you eligible, not competitive
Most US Computer Science master's programs set a minimum GPA around 3.0, and roughly three in four programs require at least that much just to be considered. But minimum and competitive aren't the same thing, published data suggests about two in three admitted students carry a GPA above 3.2, and at top-ranked programs, admitted students commonly average 3.5 or higher.
